– A combined package of bus/minivan + catamaran ferry from Chumphon or Surat Thani (very convenient and popular).
– The journey from Chumphon (Thung Makham Noi Pier) takes 9–12 hours, including both land and sea travel.
Hua Hin → Koh Tao
– Bus + catamaran ferry service available. The bus departs from Hua Hin in the morning and continues to Thung Makham Noi Pier in Chumphon for the ferry transfer.
Chumphon/Chumphon Town/Chumphon Train Station/Chumphon Airport → Koh Tao
– Chumphon Airport offers two daily shuttle services at 06:00 and 12:00, picking up passengers from the town and train station. From Chumphon, ferries to Koh Tao depart at 07:00 and 13:30.
